There's just something about this event.... it's hard to explain, just good vibes, man... come on down to Oakland on Sunday afternoon/evening, and you'll see what I mean. Music will include old skool funk, electro house, roots reggae, minimal house, 80s rock, downtempo, breaks, and who knows what else. I spin out on the big patio on the later side (which on a Sunday means 7:30–9:00), and I can't wait to pull out some new tricks from my bag.

FOOLIGANS: the bestest people around. Started in 2004 as very much aTRIBE event (sans official sponsoring), with the INTENTION of mixing lots of different "tribes" together (a lot of Burning Man folks) and forming more community...kinda finding our other monkeys, etc.).
DANCE & PLAY - Hula Hoops and Poi (no fire) quite welcome and encouraged.
RELAX - Chill, soak up some rays, have a few cocktails. It'll be Sunday, for crying out loud. Who knows, maybe we can manifest a MASSAGE table or chair or something.
